St John the Evangelist Catholic Church

We are located in the heart of Western Kenosha County – where tradition and country life come together. Our area of the state is growing with sprawling new neighborhoods emerging to meet the growing economic development in this area. We are also a great location for commuters – those who work in Chicago or Milwaukee. Come explore our parish setting where you can experience tradition in God’s country.

In June 2005, St. Alphonsus in New Munster, WI and St. John the Evangelist  in Twin Lakes, WI, began sharing a pastor under the direction of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. In total, we have about 1,100 families – with 500 at St. Alphonsus and 600 at St. John’s

While we are two separate parishes, our efforts are collaborative and coordinated under the direction of our pastor, Fr. Arthur Mattox

Our Mission Statement

Strengthened by the Eucharist, we go out to proclaim the death and resurrection of Christ.

Events

Our Parish offices are closed at this time.

Please know that all of your Mass intentions are being offered by Father Mattox when he celebrates the Private Masses without an assembly.  They will continue to be offered until we are able to gather again as a faith community.

If you need to contact the office, please do.  Phone messages may be left.  Your calls will be answered. Our messages are checked on a regular basis.

All of our faithful members, our communities and essential workers are in our prayers during this time of uncertainty.  Trust in the Lord!

SEE YOU AT MASS.
