Receiving The Sacraments
Baptisms of infants and young children under the age of seven are celebrated during the first Sunday of the month at St. Alphonsus and the second Sunday of the month at St. John the Evangelist. All first time parents and new parishioners are required to participate in a two-session preparation program.
Contact Sandi Schmitt at email@example.com to register for one of our upcoming preparation sessions:
Reconciliation is available the first Saturday of the month before the 5 pm mass. For seasonal reconciliation opportunities, please consult the main calendar.
For baptized children interested in preparing to celebrate First Reconciliation, please contact us
The gathering to commemorate the Lords Supper is the source of our Catholic Faith. To view our Eucharistic liturgy schedule please return to the home page of this web site or view the individual parish calendars.

The sealing of a Christian with the gift of the Holy Spirit is a jumping off point to go out to the world and share the good news. In our Archdiocese, the earliest opportunity for this Sacrament is the junior year of High School with prior formation in previous years being a prerequisite.
For more information on being confirmed as a youth, please contact Benjamin Valle at firstname.lastname@example.org
The gathering of the faithful to witness the commitment of love is truly a witness of the presence of God. We are happy to accompany you on this journey though we do need you to meet some basic criteria:
- You are adults who freely choose to love each other for life and are open to accepting children if God blesses you so.
- You live in or near our parishes and will be active in our parishes (one of you needs to be Catholic). We will also work with you if you live outside the parish and your parents are currently active members of one of our parishes
Please contact one of the parish offices to begin this process. In your first meeting, we will review with you our parish wedding guidelines.
Anointing of the Sick
The gift of the healing of Jesus Christ is available to any baptized Catholic suffering a serious challenge to health of body, mind or spirit. You can call either parish office to make arrangements.
If you are feeling called to investigate the priesthood or consecrated life, we wish to assist you. You can contact either parish office; also, you can contact our Archdiocesan Vocations Office (800) 769-9373, www.archmil.org/.
